Ernie is a Labrador/hound mix who always has a story to tell everyone. This sweet old fellow has a heart as big as he is! Ernie also displays good humor and is full of life despite having some special needs. Ernie has arthritis which may make his joints ache, and he can no longer see the world through his blind eyes. He makes every day a joy by being easy to please. Ernie enjoys his naps, a couple of pats on the head and a treat now and again. Ernie is just looking for someone to take it easy with. He also has a soft spot for Millie; see below.

Millie wants to be won over; you can see it in her eyes. This shy girl is apprehensive at first but once she's comfortable she won't leave your side. Millie has a lot of energy and loves to run in the yard. This Shepherd mix takes great pleasure in rolling over for a belly rub! Millie is a gentle soul, in search of another gentle soul. All she needs is a trusting friend to spend her days with. Millie and Ernie are a well bonded pair of dogs. If you have room in your heart and home, please call to meet them!

Chelsea is an incredibly sweet dog who wins hearts easily. She has the biggest doggie smile, and eyes that will convince you that you are adored! She generally listens well, but will jump fences if given the opportunity. She would do well indoors. Chelsea gets along well with other dogs and plays enthusiastically, although she does demonstrate aggression towards cats. She adapts very well to new situations and overall is well behaved. Chelsea is also easy to please and would be a loyal companion to most any pet lover.

Always a good sport, Red just loves to run and play and run and play and run and play! When Red was found as a stray in a Tucson neighborhood, he had what appeared to be a hurt leg. Xrays showed that he had a hip fracture. He has been on cage rest for several weeks and is doing GREAT!!!! His bones have healed well and now he REALLY wants to find a family that he can pal around with. He is a wonderful and friendly dog with a great disposition and carefree personality. Just let her nose lead the way! Ginger lives for walks and jogs. She has a big place in her heart for people and always has plenty of affection and kisses to share. Ginger makes you feel special and important every time you walk through the door. She gets along with other dogs but is aggressive toward cats. Ginger loves kids too! She has much energy to burn and would love to have her very own person to play with.

Susie and her puppies nearly died in the desert where they were dumped. They ended up in a the county shelter in Phoenix, hours away from being put down. A kind rescue person looked at her pretty face, and couldn't let that happen. Susie needs to be an only pet, with an energetic and strong person to handle her and give her the attention she deserves.

Cate needs a new home. She needs a home where there is a strong male human figure to be the "alpha dog". Cate has been through training and has done well, but she feels the need to be dominating, so a home with no other dogs would be best. She loves to play and run so needs a lot of space to do this.
