Royal Couple seeks a new Palace!

"Antony" and "Cleopatra", our feline namesakes for those famous Egyptians, enjoyed the first 12 years of their lives in a loving home, protected from asps and other such dangers. They came to Casa de los Gatos after their owner entered assisted living. Antony, pictured below at the left, has developed diabetes, but with proper care has very good prospects for a healthy life. He and Cleo, shown at the right, have been together since birth and are seeking a quiet forever home. We have received one generous donation toward Antony's expenses, but there is still a $2000 balance outstanding.

We have just the thing for you: a Casa de los Gatos Purrfect Pal! For only $25 per month you or your mother can select one of our special needs cats to sponsor. She will receive a certificate of sponsorship that includes a photo of the cat, along with the cat's story. Casa de los Gatos could sure use a celebrity to speak on our behalf. PETA has Amanda Beard, Best Friends has Ellen DeGeneris, etc. Are you acquainted with a well-known cat lover who might be willing to go to bat for us? We need to find more sponsors for our special needs cats, and Star-Power might be just what our dear felines need! Send us your ideas and we'll see if we can enlist them.

We need adoption assistants and people to help groom cats and clean our cat houses. If you can volunteer at least one half-day per month, please call (520) 881-0900.
